In 1989 the company was formed as a corporation in which it would design, manufacture and market automotive products to the automotive aftermarket. Initial production began in a small 8,000 square foot building, and operations were conducted on a part time basis. In 1993 it was recognized that there was potential growth opportunities, so a new building was proposed and constructed that year. With sales increasing at a rate faster than expected it was necessary for the building size to be doubled in 1995. In 2007 the company downsized and removed many of the low volume parts from its product line. The company has since moved into a smaller facility were it is currently operating today.
Premier Products, Inc. is currently located at 5260 Lovers Ln., Portage, Michigan. Just minutes from I-94, in a 38,000 square foot building, the company has production and assembly capabilities with equipment and tooling for the manufacture of the highest quality automotive filters. The production facilities include multiple pleater machines, injection molding presses, and several assembly lines. It's all of this that makes it possible for Premier Products, Inc. to quickly and efficiently produce quality filtration products.
